According to the ADA, smiles over years, hair, and body, was the number 1 physical characteristic that patients, people, felt was most important to them. It's their smile. That's their number 1 attribute. I think the reason why that is, why smiles is number 1 physical attribute is because they want to feel confident in conversation. They want to feel as if they're not embarrassed to smile. We silently judge everybody when we go to the mall, when we see people like ourselves, and we say, "Oh. They don't have a good smile." That's the first thing that people are drawn to is their smile. That's what we restore. That's what we do best here.

Having a cosmetic procedure done can improve not only your smile but also your confidence in yourself. At Hubbard & Leath Dental, seeing you happy makes us happy! That is why we offer a number of cosmetic options that can improve your smile in just one visit to our beautiful office. Our cosmetic dentistry offerings include veneers, teeth whitening, tooth bonding, fillings, and smile makeovers.

Brighten Your Smile With Veneers

Porcelain veneers are a really interesting technique, because it allows us to really create a new smile for somebody. We can fix rotated teeth, discolored teeth, and chipped teeth. All these things can be corrected with a porcelain veneer. A porcelain veneer, if it's done well, requires usually some preparation of the tooth, so it doesn't look like it's sticking out of your mouth. We use and incorporate all of those cosmetic principles that I was talking about just a few seconds ago, and you also have to have a laboratory that can create a beautiful porcelain veneer, and it's been my experience that those laboratories are few and far between. There's really just a few in the country that really understand how to create that veneer perfectly, how to create the right translucency, how to create the right anatomy, so the light reflects off it properly. You can tell bad veneers right away. They look like Chiclets that are stuck into people's teeth. They just don't look natural. They look too opaque.
The greatest compliment I get sometimes is patients will come back and say, "Nobody's really noticed I've done anything to my teeth. They're asking me, did you lose weight? Did you change your hair?" People realize they look better, but their teeth don't look artificial. They don't look like we've crowned them or changed them so dramatically. They just have a more beautiful smile, and I think that's the best dentistry is dentistry that doesn't look like you've had dentistry.

Do you hide your smile because of embarrassing flaws? If you do, dental veneers are just one way that you can repair your smile so it is bright and beautiful. Dental veneers are thin shells of porcelain or resin that are bonded to the front of your teeth to improve your smile. Veneers can be used when teeth are discolored, crooked, worn down, chipped, broken, irregularly shaped, or have large gaps. Let us improve your smile with a set of veneers!

Restore Confidence In Your Smile With Zoom!

Bonding is a really interesting process. We use it in almost every filling that we do nowadays because what we do is we actually use a very mild acidic solution on the tooth that creates little micro pores in it. Then we actually bond the filling right to the tooth so there's an adhesive bond that exist between the two. It's phenomenally strong.
The materials that we use nowadays have a great translucency, they're naturally beautiful. We can create great results on back teeth when we do just a regular filling or we can reconstruct the corner of a front tooth or even many corners or front teeth.
The beauty of the bonding as opposed to a porcelain veneer is it's far more economical. The disadvantage is that's it not nearly as permanent. It will over time stain and discolor slightly. It's more acceptable to fracture and things like that. We do it a lot. It's a great procedure.

We offer you in-office Zoom! teeth whitening treatment that will leave your smile looking pearly white after just one visit. Zoom! is a teeth bleaching treatment that is used to whiten teeth through 25% hydrogen peroxide gel combined with ultraviolet light to activate the process. At Hubbard & Leath Dental, we have extreme confidence that you will be satisfied with your Zoom! teeth whitening experience. We can’t wait you see your new bright smile!

About a year ago, we talked about getting veneers. I really wanted to change my whole smile, my outlook, so the decision to get veneers was really one of the best decisions that I've ever made. I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Hubbard, he's always done great work for me. He's done lots of crowns for me, and my family.
When I looked in the mirror for the first time, when I got the veneers on, I broke down, crying. It really, it's just it was amazing. The best thing about it, it looked natural. I've had a lot of close friends and family say to me, what did you do, you look younger, you look brighter, and I just smile. It's my teeth, but nobody really knows too, so that's the best part about it. It's natural, it feels really natural.
The process was a two step process. First I had to come in and get temporaries on. That's when I broke down. I looked in the mirror, and the temporaries were just fabulous. Then when the whole process was over I couldn't even believe how much better it even was, finally when the process was complete.
It was a two step process, and if I ever began to feel uncomfortable, anything, they took care of it. They're all professional, but they do make you feel like they're your family, an extended family. They're very sensitive in any way, that if going through a treatment if I feel uncomfortable, they nip it in the bud, and I just feel like I can talk to them, and I feel very comfortable here.

At Hubbard & Leath Dental, we want to provide you with a wide array of cosmetic options that can improve your smile. Working together with Dr. Hubbard or Dr. Leath, your smile makeover will be planned using smile design imaging software. After doing this, it will take about two to three weeks to develop a plan to make you smile exactly the way that you want.

Dental bonding is a common procedure where a tooth-colored resin material is applied to the tooth and becomes hardened with a special light. This resin material becomes part of the tooth, thus improving your smile! Bonds are used to repair teeth that have exposed roots due to receding gums, as well as chipped, decayed, broken, discolored, and misshapen teeth. At Hubbard & Leath Dental, we want to see your family smile with confidence, and tooth bonding is just one way we can help you achieve that goal.

Here at our office, we offer tooth colored fillings. Mercury fillings, the old silver fillings, we do not offer in our office for many reasons, but we offer tooth colored fillings that looks like a tooth, feels like a tooth, acts like a tooth. It's a great option for somebody who has cavities and needs them to be filled. We replace older fillings that are broken down, older silver fillings that are broken down. We replace it with a tooth colored filling material and it lasts just as long. It looks nice. The patient's very satisfied.

A cavity is one of the most common dental problems that we encounter at Hubbard & Leath Dental. Since we see them so much, our staff is well-versed in filling those cavities with tooth-colored fillings. It is a simple process where we numb your mouth for painless insertion of the composite filling. Not having a cavity filled can lead to much larger oral health problems that may lead to complete loss of the tooth.
