Caring Is As Important As Your Dental Care
Dental anxiety can be a challenge for you and for the dental professionals who want to help you.
Yet, we have helped and continue to help many anxious patients from Auburn Hills, Troy, and everywhere in between at our dentist office in Rochester, MI.
How are we able to do this? We have a variety of comfort options. We do offer sedation dentistry.
But mostly, we believe it is because of the compassion and concern exhibited by the members of our staff.
Today, we want you to learn a little more about the professionals who you will get to know if you visit Hubbard & Leath Dental for your family and general dentistry needs.
Here’s a little bit about some of the faces you will see if you become a regular at our office.
Cheryl is one of our dental hygienists. She has been with our practice for 20 years.
She has treated patients since they were children, and now she is providing dental cleanings for their kids.
“Coming to work is like being home every day,” Cheryl said.
She is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She also took classes at the Rosenthal Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry at New York University. She is licensed in sedation and local anesthesia, and Cheryl has completed training in advanced techniques.
In addition to her proficiency at her job, our patients appreciate her upbeat nature and the concern that she shows for them.
Angela is a registered dental assistant. You may see her working chairside along with one of our dentists.
“The main goal is patient care. We are a patient-centered practice,” Angela said.
She added that the staff knows when a patient is experiencing dental anxiety, and they do want to help ease those concerns. As they sit the patient, they try to explain the procedures, so you will know what to expect.
Angela also pointed out that they want to hear any questions or concerns that you may have. It’s important to us that you understand what is happening and that we take steps to ease your worries.
Angela also stressed the reason that she recommends Hubbard & Leath Dental to people that she knows, including her own family. According to her, patients can expect considered, professional care from the moment they enter our office until they walk out the door.
Mary is a patient consultant specialist.
We know that paying for dental care is a concern for many people. Mary is here to help you with this process.
She will find out what your dental insurance provider will do, and figure out ways you can pay for any remaining balance.
She has found that Care Credit is a great service for patients who may not have dental insurance. Within the office, we also offer various financing options.
Our goal is to help you get the dental care that you need in a way that works with your budget.
“We try to treat every patient that walks through the door like they are one of our guests in our home,” Mary said.
We are fortunate to have to skilled and highly trained dentists at the head of our practice. There’s a reason we have been named one of America’s Best Dentists for 2016.
Dr. Hubbard is a graduate of the University of Detroit and the University of Detroit School of Dentistry. He has completed additional training at the NYU Dental School’s Rosenthal Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. He has received extensive training in orthodontic care, endodontics, and implant placement, too.
He decided to become a dentist, in part, because of encouragement from his own dentist when he was in high school.
“It’s been a wonderful journey for me,” Dr. Hubbard said.
Dr. Leath is the younger of our two doctors. He grew up in Southeast Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School.
Dr. Leath will tell you that how our patients are treated is as important as the specific service they receive.
“I treat ALL patients with compassion and respect and I focus on ensuring the patient’s needs always come FIRST,” he said.
