Amy: I’ve had some extensive dental work done, so I had to actually get a whole slew of work done on my upper front teeth. I actually had a tooth that had to be replaced. He just did a great job. I was so thrilled with the end results. The confidence that I have in Dr. Leath and his staff, I know that any treatment that he’s going to give to me or my daughter would be something that he would do to his own family. I know that he treats us and I’m sure all of his patients, we’re part of his big extended family. We just have the utmost confidence in him and we know that he’ll take care of our teeth as if we were part of his own personal family.
This was the first time that she went to the dentist. She came and saw Michelle and Dr. Leath. They just explained the whole process to her and let her know what they were doing, and explained the sounds, and made it a very comforting experience. From the very first time that she started to go until now, she’s actually excited to go to the dentist, which is pretty refreshing, pretty nice.
Speaker 2: I like him. He’s very gentle with my teeth.
I can’t tell you what he has done because it’s incredible. He’s taken a 58 year old mouth and he completely redid it. I’ve had fillings that were like 45 years old. Over the course of the last two years he’s completely redone all of my fillings. I used to not be able to eat cold things or hot things, and I didn’t even know it until these fillings were redone. Now it’s like a miracle. I can eat anything. It’s wonderful. They say fillings are only supposed to last like 15 years. These were, as I said, 45 years old. One of them started going bad and we just started talking about it. He said, “You know, might as well just redo all of these right now,” save my teeth. That’s what he did.
My husband and I moved here about three years ago. I found this just looking for a new dentist. Ever since day one, they’ve recognized me when I walk in the door. I feel that they give us excellent service, very responsive. It’s just a really, really pleasant place to go. I just think that they’re up to do date on all the technology. as I said, they’re quick, they’re efficient, they’re on time, they’re friendly. I just can’t say enough about them.
I came in just to have my front teeth done because I’m getting older and everything kind of falls apart with age, and I wanted to get my smile back. I knew I needed work in the rest of my mouth, so basically he put crowns and caps. I just had him do all of them, because some of them would match and some wouldn’t. I just felt more comfortable if it was a complete set. I wasn’t planning on doing it all at one time, but after I saw what he was doing, it just made sense to finish it right up and be done with it, you know?
The process took about 3 or 4 months that it was worthwhile to me. I didn’t feel any of the work. That was totally bearable. It’s afterwards where they put the sealant on your gum I had some discomfort there for one weekend, and then they brought me right in and one of the ladies here put I don’t know what kind of stuff it was, and it just took away all the pain. I’m like, that’s great.
I was at first. I was kind of apprehensive about having this much work done. I mean, he had a book here to show some of the patients that he had worked on before. I mean, look at the befores and afters and said, “Jeez, I’m not that bad, so I should at least look this good, you know?” It was about that, it was about the cost a little bit, but I’m happy with the results, so it wasn’t a waste of money at all. Dr. Harper is very professional and he did an excellent job on the reconstruction of my mouth. It was a very friendly atmosphere. All of the people are really nice and professional. I just had a lot of good experience there.
I came to see Dr. Hubbard because I wanted to improve my smile. He was able to create a flawless look for me. As I’m in the sales industry and media industry. I’m always with people, and he made me get more confidence. He created a whole new smile for me and it’s something that I’m very grateful for.
From the first conference consultation to the end result with follow up, it’s been a very easy process. I sat down with Dr. Hubbard, explained exactly what I was looking for, and he worked with me to craft something very unique and custom to me.
Working with the hygienist, they were very easy to come in and accommodate me for my appointments. I travel quite a bit, so it’s very hard sometimes to get in on a regular basis. They were very accommodating. From start to finish, it’s been a really wonderful experience. I highly recommend it to anybody.
As soon as you walk in the door, you’re always greeted with smiles and an upbeat, positive environment. They know you by name. They get to know you as a person, not just a patient, not just a number. I love it because of course my mom works here and she always brings such a wonderful, positive energy to any atmosphere.
25 years I’ve been coming to him. He’s done veneers, root canals. Brought someone in, [CNR 00:08], to put me out because I don’t like it. I figured I’m getting older and I want to have a nice smile. I smile a lot. I’m a runner and I’m out there all the time and help people get motivated. I just thought that it would be a good time to do it. I had some breakage underneath from years and years ago. He just did the new procedure so they’re real nice and strong and I won’t have to worry about it anymore. That makes me very happy.
I don’t like needles. I’m a chicken. I’m the biggest one there is, but he took me on. Everybody’s so sweet. From the minute you walk in the door until you’re walking out, they’re always smiling. They’re very efficient. They’re innovative. I know Rob’s always going to seminars and learning something new. Anything that they have that can make you comfortable, they will do. I’ve had them hold my hand before. They just know. They’re just very, very good people.
I never had braces as a kid, my sisters all did, and I never needed them. My teeth were actually perfect all my life. As I got older, as I aged, my teeth just started shifting and it was really kind of annoying to me. I just didn’t like how it looked and I was getting food stuck in between my teeth, so I thought, “You know what? I’m just going to do it.”
I know cosmetic dentistry is kind of becoming more and more popular and I thought, “Well, I can do this.” I decided just to fix my teeth and I’m glad I did.
I was here every two weeks. He fine tuned it and I think he did an incredible job. I love everybody in the office. I had an option to pay monthly or a lump sum right up front. I opted for the pay up front and so I paid one amount for everything that needed to be done with my teeth. Once you pay for that you don’t feel like you’re paying for anything else.
The fact that I came as often as I did, I think it was an amazing package price that I got for the outcome. I love the reminders. I get reminders on my phone via text and calls, because sometimes I kind of forget that I have an appointment, especially coming every two weeks.
The staff, they’re always very outgoing and happy, and very good mood. They’re all very knowledgeable and very timely and I absolutely would recommend anybody coming here.
About a year ago, we talked about getting veneers. I really wanted to change my whole smile, my outlook, so the decision to get veneers was really one of the best decisions that I’ve ever made. I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Hubbard, he’s always done great work for me. He’s done lots of crowns for me, and my family.
When I looked in the mirror for the first time, when I got the veneers on, I broke down, crying. It really, it’s just it was amazing. The best thing about it, it looked natural. I’ve had a lot of close friends and family say to me, what did you do, you look younger, you look brighter, and I just smile. It’s my teeth, but nobody really knows too, so that’s the best part about it. It’s natural, it feels really natural.
The process was a two step process. First I had to come in and get temporaries on. That’s when I broke down. I looked in the mirror, and the temporaries were just fabulous. Then when the whole process was over I couldn’t even believe how much better it even was, finally when the process was complete.
It was a two step process, and if I ever began to feel uncomfortable, anything, they took care of it. They’re all professional, but they do make you feel like they’re your family, an extended family. They’re very sensitive in any way, that if going through a treatment if I feel uncomfortable, they nip it in the bud, and I just feel like I can talk to them, and I feel very comfortable here.
As I said before, I’ve had a lot of dental work done over the years. I had a cantilevered bridge that failed eventually. That stood up for a number of years. I had to have an extraction associated with that [failing 00:00:11]. That left a gap, a hole. I want to be able to chew well into my nineties and perhaps beyond, if I’m lucky. An implant was an option. There were other options like a denture. The implant sounded better to me. He explained everything there. He did the extraction, referred me to a surgeon or a dentist who does the implant who was also very good. They work very closely together. There was a lot of coordination, which gave me a lot of confidence. The procedure went well. The implant went well.
Once the implant was there, because Dr. Leath then put the crown on, the initial crown, he didn’t like the way it fit. I wouldn’t have known any difference, but he did, and so he sent it back. Again, I had a high degree of confidence in him at that, having done that. It’s been great. I haven’t had any problems. I’d recommend the procedure to anyone else if they needed it because I’ve had a lot of dental work done over the years. We moved here several years ago and looked for a dentist and other medical providers, and were fortunate enough to come to Dr. Leath.
Since I’ve been here, I’ve had some pretty major things happen. I’ve been very impressed with the degree of professionalism and competence that has been exhibited. I’ve never had any problems. If I had any questions, they’re always answered very thoroughly. Over and above that, it’s a fun place to come. The people here are very convivial. They’re friendly. They like to see me walk through the door. At least they made me feel that way. That’s nice. It makes it a pleasure to go to the dentist. If you can find a place that is reliable, professional, competent, and a lot of fun to boot, why wouldn’t you go there?
My husband came here first see Dr. Leath. He came home and he said, “You have to go. This is the dentist for you. He knows me well and he knows that I’m a harsh critic of a lot of professionals and health professionals in general.” In my husband’s words, “Dr. Leath is the total package. He’s always really patient and is never condescending about how he tells me about the dental issues that might either arise for other myself or my kids.” When I finally met him myself, I had to agree that he is definitely the total package.
As Georgette mentioned, we did go to a pediatric dentist. Which is a place where you would think that you would’ve felt so calm and at ease because they have all the bells and whistles to make it kid friendly. She wasn’t calm and at ease there. She kind of saw through the gloss and never felt really comfortable. Once she came here, kids are really intuitive and I think she just felt the genuine, caring attitude that he has.
Kathy, who has always been the person who handles all of the financial situations here for us, I appreciate that she understands that we are always a family that is tight with money. She’s always there to present me with, “This is what it’s going to cost. This is what you’re looking at.” Even if there is something that needs to be done, “This is going to be what you’re looking ahead to.” Itemizing things and showing me what is to be expected on our end.
It’s nice to have a nice person. I really find Dr. Leath to be extremely personable. What stands out for me is really how comforted I am by his level of expertise in what he does. I’m really confident that I’m getting the best dental care that’s possible.
I like coming to this office because my whole family can come. Everybody in the office is really approachable and friendly. They’re very professional. I never second-guess any of the decisions that they’re making for our care, so that makes me really comfortable coming here.
Since I’ve been here, they’ve just kept me on track with what I was doing before. Kept my teeth clean, helped me to figure out different ways to make sure that I don’t get more cavities. They’ve helped me to look at ways to look into having my teeth straightened. We had talked about using a the Clear Connect on my teeth, which I’m not a good candidate before, but they gave me a referral for an orthodontist to address that on my own and go ahead and get my teeth straightened. That’s been helpful as well.
He’s really good with my son, which I like. My son is six years old. He’s a little squirmy and difficult to deal with. I like that he’s always been really patient with him. They’re just really warm. They’re really warm, they’re really kind, friendly. They’re open with their lives. It just feels like home. You can have a relationship with these people. That’s how I like to have my relationships with my doctors, with my dentist. I think that it’s more than just somebody that you see once a year. I like that about them.
